What a great way to add fresh fruit to your diet! You can add a fruit tree to your garden or yard. They come in a multitude of options. Do you want an apple tree, a pear tree, or maybe even a black cherry tree? Or, perhaps you were thinking more like pineapple or even banana? There are many options available to you and, if you want it, there is not a reason why you shouldn’t have a great tree like this in your yard!
What are your options in this type of tree? The choices are endless, but not all types of these trees can be grown everywhere. For example, an orange tree needs to be grown where it is very warm with plenty of sun. But, the apple and pear trees do well in the cool, crisp air of the north. In order to determine which type of trees you can have in your yard, you will need to know what climate zone that you are in. You can find a map of these climate zones right on any of the websites of gardening knowledge and information. Then, when you go to order the trees, you will be able to know what is capable of growing in your area.
There are ways around this though. If you choose to invest in a climate controlled greenhouse you may be able to purchase any type of these trees. Or, in some cases, people have actually grown these trees indoors in pots. In this case, they are often the dwarf versions of these trees, but they still bare the same type of fruit. As for that, often times with these types of trees it will take a few years to establish itself before it will produce quality fruit. Nevertheless, these trees can be great additions to any garden.
