What is ground cover? Why would anyone want to put it in their gardening atmosphere? This type of plant is a great accessory to any garden. The plant is actually a lot like grass in that it covers the ground and allows for you to walk on it, if you so choose. One of the most interesting things about this type of plant is the way that it grows. It actually spreads itself low to the ground, covering the entire area including anything that might be in its way.
There are many different types of this plant. They are not all green like grass either. Some are bright colors like pinks and reds. Others have leaves shaped uniquely. When you are considering using this type of plant as part of your garden, consider what type you purchase carefully. By weighing what the plant will do compared to what you need, you will be able to purchase the right plant every time.
