Variegated Liriope
The Liriope 'Variegated', Lirope muscari 'Variegata', also known as Lirope variegated lily-turf, is as it's name implies, a variegated border grass.
The grassy foliage is edged with creamy yellow.
Excellent for edging and ground covers.
When plantings space 12-15" apart.
It has purple-blue blooms, similar to grape hyacinths, that appear on top the tidy 9 to 12" plants in early fall.

Leafhoppers are 1/4 inch long pests that like to suck the juices right out leaves, buds,and stems. You can keep these bugs away by planting petunias, geraniums and perennial grasses - they hate moisture and low light.
