Lambs Ears
Lamb's Ear is not known for its flowering, but however its foliage.
Lamb's Ear' has a plant height of 8" and a spread of 12-24" and blooms in mid-summer.
The Stachys `Lamb's Ear', Stachys byzantina, is known for its soft, fuzzy, silvery green foliage.
It will add texture and color in rock gardens and looks wonderful with Veronica `Goodness Grows', Tradescantia `Concord Grape' or other purple blooming perennials.
It is useful in the border or as a ground cover.

For United States gardeners ... remember to fertilize your lawn around the summer holidays. First on Memorial Day weekend to start the summer, again on Labor Day after the heat of the summer has passed, and finally near Halloween for a healthy lawn next spring.
