Othello Leopard Plant
The Ligularia `Othello Leopard Plant', Ligularia dentata, is a wonderful yellow-orange, daisy-like flower with huge leathery, toothed, heart-shaped, basal leaves.
Blooming from July to August, `Ligularia Othello' has a plant height of 2' and a spread of 24-36". It must have moist soil and should never be allowed to dry out.
New leaves emerge purplish-red but turn to brownish-green.
Use Ligularia in group or mass plantings, woodland gardens, or along streams, ponds, pools or bog gardens.
