White Peony
Although there are many Peonies on the market in this day and age, at this time we have chosen unnamed varieties, simply pink, red and white.
The white peony featured here has a very clean, pure white flower that really is a wonderful specimen in the garden.
Peonies are one of the best cut flowers and are often used in the Midwest to decorate gravesites on Memorial Day.

One way to get rid of lingering weeds in a newly prepared garden is to "solarize" them. Cover the area with clear plastic and let the sun do the work. This works best in hot climates.
