Londense Privet

The Londense Privet, Ligustrum vulgare lodense, is a dwarf privet hedge plant.
This privet is grown as a hedge plant because it tolerates shearing and is quite dense.
Dark green foliage with white flowers.
The plant is densely branched but quite irregular in shape if not sheared.
Privet tolerate most light exposures but is not as dense in the shade.
Ideal for a low hedge.
If left untrimmed it will reach a height of 4 feet.

Plant strawberries by digging a V-shaped hole about 8 inches deep. Spread the roots out, place the roots against the side of the hole, then push soil against the roots. As the plant sends out runner, trim all but the best six runners for an abundant crop.
