Blanda Mixed Anemone
Anemone are easily grown and do best in slightly shaded locations.
This flower is also known as Japanese Anemone and is one of the best fall flowers to plant.
The foliage is glossy and brilliant.
The Anemone Blanda Mixed, 'Anemone Coronaria', a spring planted herbacious root, produces gorgeous mixed colored flowers.
The Anemone is very late in breaking out of the ground in the spring, so be careful with early spring cultivation.
They should be placed in well drained soil with lots of organic matter.
