Hardy Gloxinia
Remove faded flowers to prolong bloom period.
The large, 3 inch, trumpet-shaped flowers come in clusters of 8 to 10 blooms.
The Hardy Gloxinia, 'Incarvillea delavayi', a spring planted herbacious root, produces lovely pink flowers and are excellent container plants.
They prefer to be planted in a protected area that is fertile and well drained.
Protect this herbacious perennial in the winter.

Ladybugs are found in the US, mostly in the western states of Nevada and California. These 1/2 inch long beetles feed on whiteflies, mealybugs, scales, and aphids. Keep ladybugs around by spraying a little sugar water on a few leaves.
