Trumpet Creeper
The invasive nature of this plant makes it hard to get rid of but also very hardy.
It is also known as the Trumpet Vine and is a tough vine for hot and dry sites.
Trumpet Creepers are often grown with multiple trunks.
The Trumpet Creeper, Campsis radicans, is a rapid growing, clinging vine that produces orange trumpet shaped flowers in the summer months that attract hummingbirds and butterflies.
The rapid growth makes it an excellent plant for covering fences or arbors.
This plant flowers best in a full sun location.

Make a plastic root cellar by sinking a garbage can into the ground with the rim 3 inches above the ground. Line the bottom of the garbage can with 2 inches of damp sand, repeat this with each layer of vegetables. Finally, place a 1 to 2 foot high pile of leaves and straw over the top followed by a plastic film held down by rocks.
